July 2020 – June 2021: ICT Project Manager

At DFR Steven worked as ICT Project Manager reporting directly to the DMR of Operations responsible for:

• the establishment of the Recruitment Management System (D365, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Business Intelligence and Reporting);
• the establishment of brand-new Azure cloud Infrastructure including Microsoft ExpressRoute, Office365, Azure AD, SharePoint 365;
• the assessment of security, storage, scalability, and compute requirements against solution design;
• the extending the legacy DFR network to include the Azure network – setting up the cloud data centre to be the primary with a view to consolidate everything to the cloud;
• the retirement of legacy applications including the major bespoke applications PowerForce and Examiner;
• development of a migration strategy, including planning and testing;
• overseeing the migration of twenty years of Candidate data including sensitive documents to new D365 data object model;
• following migration monitoring the DFR applications and infrastructure to ensure that they are performing as expected, and optimising them as needed to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness;
• lead the project as the Senior Project Manager;
• oversee a combined budget of $6 million in 2020/21;
